Air source heat pumps

Designed around your home, not a standard package.

We assess heat loss, radiators, hot water, electrical capacity and how you use your home before recommending a system.

Boiler Upgrade Scheme

£7,500

Support may be available for an eligible installation.

Eligible air-to-water heat pump installations in England and Wales can receive £7,500. Until March 2027, an additional £1,500 may be available where a property is heated by oil or LPG and has no mains gas connection, bringing the total to £9,000.

Property, technology and scheme requirements apply. We can assess likely eligibility and explain the application route; funding is not guaranteed until the scheme process is complete. Check current government grant guidance.

Before we specify

The system starts with the survey.

A heat pump performs best when the whole heating system is considered together.

Room heat loss

Room by room calculations establish the heat demand and help avoid guesswork.

Radiators and emitters

We check whether existing emitters are suitable and explain any recommended changes.

Hot water

Cylinder space, household demand and recovery requirements are included in the design.

Electrical capacity

The supply, consumer unit and proposed equipment are reviewed before installation.

Everyday comfort

What living with a heat pump feels like.

A heat pump works differently from a gas boiler. We explain those differences before installation so you know what to expect.

01

Steady warmth

The system normally maintains a consistent temperature rather than delivering short bursts of intense heat.

02

Warm radiators

Radiators may feel warm rather than very hot because the system runs efficiently at lower temperatures.

03

Longer run times

A correctly designed system can run for longer periods at a lower output.

04

Clear handover

We explain controls, settings and normal operation, then provide an aftercare route.

The technology

Installation quality matters as much as the unit.

Product choice is only one part of a successful system. Design, pipework, controls, commissioning and customer understanding all affect long term performance.
