WORKWORK ENERGY · YOUR INFORMATION

Privacy policy.

How we use your information when you visit our website, enquire about a project or contact our partner team.

Last updated: 18 October 2026

Who we are

WorkWork Energy is a trading name of Work Work Limited, the controller responsible for the personal information described in this policy. We are registered in England and Wales, company number 06360359. Our registered office is Comer Business & Innovations Centres, Oakleigh Road South, London, N11 1GN.

For privacy questions, requests about your personal data or data-protection complaints, contact info@workworkltd.com or telephone 020 8902 7290.

Information we collect

Our customer enquiry form collects your name, email address, telephone number, property address, postcode, selected service and any message you provide. Partner enquiries collect business and contact details, the type of partnership sought and any trade registrations, coverage or capacity information you choose to provide.

We also receive information you send by email or telephone. If you proceed with a project, we may need survey information, photographs, quotations, installation records and, where relevant, evidence of eligibility for a funding scheme. Additional information needed for finance or a particular scheme will be explained at that stage. Please do not send identity documents, bank details, health information or other sensitive documents through the general enquiry form.

Our hosting and security services may process technical information such as your IP address, browser details, request times and website error logs to operate and protect the service.

How and why we use it

  • Your enquiry and proposal: to respond, understand your requirements and take steps you request before entering a contract.
  • Projects and aftercare: to arrange surveys, deliver agreed work, administer payments and provide installation support under our contract.
  • Partner enquiries: to assess a proposed working relationship and communicate with business contacts, based on our legitimate interest in managing our supplier and installer network.
  • Security and administration: to prevent abuse, maintain records and handle complaints, based on our legitimate interests in running and protecting our business.
  • Legal and regulatory obligations: to retain or disclose information where required by applicable law or regulatory duties.

Where we rely on consent for a separate activity, you can withdraw that consent by contacting us. Sending an enquiry does not automatically sign you up to marketing. Any marketing must have an appropriate basis, and you can ask us to stop at any time.

Providing an enquiry is voluntary. The marked required fields help us identify and respond to your request; without sufficient contact or project information we may be unable to provide a proposal. You can contact us by telephone instead.

Postcode address lookup

When you enter a valid postcode, our form can send it automatically to Ideal Postcodes to find matching addresses. The request also exposes normal connection information, including your IP address, to that provider. Our lookup code does not send the name, email, telephone number or message you have entered.

You choose your address from the results and can check or edit it before submitting. Select “Enter address manually” before entering your postcode if you prefer not to use the lookup. For the provider's own data-handling information, see the Ideal Postcodes privacy policy.

Who receives your information

Website enquiries are directed to info@workworkltd.com for our team to handle. Hosting, email and IT service providers process information needed to deliver and protect these services. The main WorkWork Energy website is hosted with IONOS.

Where needed for your requested project, information may be shared with surveyors, installers, subcontractors, equipment suppliers, certification or warranty bodies and relevant funding-scheme administrators. We may also disclose information to professional advisers, regulators or authorities where necessary for legal obligations, complaints or the protection of legal rights.

Finance enquiries

Work Work Limited is a credit broker, not a lender (FCA FRN 718931). If you choose to explore finance, relevant information may be passed through Stax, the finance platform from Shermin Finance, and to participating lenders as part of the application process. Merely submitting a general website enquiry does not submit a credit application.

Finance providers explain their own processing, credit checks and decision-making through their application notices. Our website enquiry forms do not make automated credit decisions.

Storage, access and retention

We take appropriate steps to protect personal information and restrict access to people who need it for their work. Our support teams and service providers may process information outside the UK. International access or transfers are subject to applicable data-protection requirements; contact us for details of the locations and safeguards relevant to your information, including how to obtain a copy of any applicable safeguards.

We retain information for as long as needed for the purpose for which it was collected. We consider whether an enquiry remains active, whether it becomes a project or partnership, and any contractual, warranty, accounting, regulatory or legal-claim requirements. Security records are retained according to their operational purpose. Contact us for the retention arrangements relevant to your records.

Cookies and website operation

The direct enquiry service uses a necessary session cookie, ww_enquiry, to protect submissions and help prevent duplicates. It contains a session identifier rather than your enquiry text, and is configured as a browser-session cookie. The handler also uses short-term security counters to limit abusive requests.

The postcode lookup keeps results in page memory while you use the form. Our website code does not add advertising or analytics tracking cookies. Hosting platforms may use necessary security or delivery technologies. External websites and finance services have their own notices.

Your choices and rights

Depending on the circumstances, you can request access to your information, correction, deletion, restriction of use or a portable copy. Where processing relies on consent, you can withdraw it without affecting earlier lawful processing.

You can object to processing based on legitimate interests and can always object to direct marketing. Send requests to info@workworkltd.com. We may need to check your identity before releasing or changing personal records.

You can also raise a complaint with the UK Information Commissioner's Office. Visit ico.org.uk/make-a-complaint for its current contact details and guidance.

Changes to this policy

We will update this page when our website or information-handling arrangements change. The date above identifies this version. Contact us if you would like clarification about how this policy applies to your enquiry.
